Committee Hearings Bring Raise Questions About Bolton's Credibility

   Just weeks before he may receive a recess appointment, Bolton informed Congress that he not been involved in any vaguely defined "investigation" for the past five years. Bolton, prior to the invasion of Iraq, was questioned in an inquiry into Iraq's having attempted to buy nukes from Niger. A state department official, either disingenuous or misinformed, had previously remarked that the same answer, given by Bolton on a survey, was correct.
