St Clair County Board Member Proposes Vote Fraud Committee

Steve Reeb, a Republican member of the St Clair County Board, as proposed the creation of a committee to "remedy" vote fraud. This comes in the wake of the convictions of several high profile Metro East Democrats, including former E. St Louis alderman Charlie Powell, on charges stemming from a recent money-for-votes scandal. Several candidates, including St Clair County Board chairman Mark Kern, and Illinois Supreme Court candidate Gordan Maag, benefited from the largesse. Kern was the only one who won.
